It’s time for a disposable camera challenge – day in a life edition…
So I rarely pull out my camera in the winter just for the fun of it. By the time spring rolls around I am feeling a little rusty of the photography side of things. With that in mind I thought it was time to bring back the disposable camera challenge. I love putting aside the big digital camera sometimes for the disposable one. While you can’t get super technical with your settings and such it is still taking photos and it kind of forces you to just have fun with it and focus less on the outcome.
So I should probably go back to the original disposable camera challenge, which was from when I was in photography school, and explain how this all got started. With the original challenge we weren’t allowed to look through the viewfinder and every photo was supposed to show an example of one of the rules of composition. It was kind of a cross between using our creativity but also learning a little more about the technical side of photography.
For this challenge we are throwing all the technical out the window and focusing just on creativity. I thought it would be fun to do a bit of a “day in the life” type challenge and just carry the camera around through the day and snap photos of whatever you are up to. It is less about getting amazing pictures and more about finding inspiration in every day things.
So grab a disposable camera and have some fun with it!
