Hey, I’m Kristie, the face behind The Monday Creative. I am a Kamloops BC based blogger and photographer with a love for all things that involve being creative.
I studied professional photography in 2013 and as much as I love photography I have always had a hard time focusing on one form of art. I like to paint when the mood strikes and when the moment calls for it, I am all about grabbing a pen and paper and writing. I wanted to find a way to include everything that I love and that brought me to TMC, a little space on the internet to share what I am up to.
Aside from arts I love being outside in the sunshine, hiking, biking…at the moment I am writing this I am half way through training for a half-marathon (so if you never hear from me again after July 22 you’ll know I didn’t survive those 21.1kms).
I chose the name The Monday Creative because to me TMC is a person who, even on that most hated day of the week after a long day of work are still thinking, planning, creating the next project. They are a person who creates just for the simple joy of creating something, not because they are the best at it, or because they have to, but because they love it.
