So I was a little tired last night by the time I got back to the B&B and I passed out before I could finish this. I had planned on finishing it while I was on the train earlier but the trains here are just a little crazy so that never happened. I have a whole new appreciation for my car now (also I will never call a Canadian road narrow ever again). SO here goes day THREE in England…
I was going to start off by saying today was a quiet day but really today was only quiet in the aspect I wasn’t walking for hours or trying to get from point A to point B. Today was the wedding reception and the reason I am in England. The party was wonderful and the food awesome.
We have to talk about the tent that was used though. At home we go to Rogers Rental and get a tent that basically is just a roof, I think you might be able to get ones with sides but generally speaking they are just a roof. Here they definitely come with 4 walls, windows, extensions out different sides and a FLOOR. It was just a little awesome.
The countryside is absolutely beautiful, everywhere you look it is green and the sun was shining so that made it even prettier so I asked Britta to snap a few photos of me at the end of the day. Plus I needed proof that I am actually in England. This first photos is the view from my room at the B&B. I stayed at a place called the Burcombe Manor near Salisbury which apparently was built in 1865 (according to their website). It is like a mini castle and the lady who runs it is very sweet. Plus they had a little kitten so in my books it’s the best place ever. There will be pictures of the outside in the next post!

The rest of the photos were taken where the wedding reception was held, an absolutely gorgeous place and what you can’t tell from the photos of me is that I was shivering because it was soooo cold once the sun went down. Some one needs to let England in on the fact that it is summer (all jokes I promise, it was actually really nice during the day…you just need your parka at night)

Tomorrow I am off to Brighton and the beach and the sea…very excited!
